I selected this article from Curatti written by Shane Barker because it provides information on how to increase engagement on social media.

It's important to have a community that is interested in your brand content.

Drive Up Your Social Media Conversations

As you grow your audience online you will want to build lasting relationships with them. I agree that in order to encourage engagement you need to review your current strategy and make adjustments.

Barker explains how to post content that people will want to respond to.

Here's what caught my attention:

  • Include humor in your tweets and posts. People want to be entertained, not just informed. Include images and relatable captions.

  • You will improve your chances of being seen if you include great images. There are free online programs that can help you achieve this.

  • Publish more video content -- these tend to get more reactions and feedback. Do this in between your images in a balanced way.

I selected this article from Curatti written by Avinash Nair
because it provides the latest information to bring your website up to date.

Three ways you can improve your website design

Top Reasons to Update a Website

Every second a new website is born on the Internet. I agree that knowing what needs to be fixed is the first step to rebuilding a presence that your visitors will love.

Nair goes over the what to look for when assessing your business's most important online real estate.

Here's what caught my attention:

  • If your traffic is declining this could be due to an outdated design. If it was created years ago it can appear to be sloppy and won't get the attention it deserves.

  • We are well into the mobile purchase age, and this means all websites should be responsive or fall behind. It's important to be recognized on all devices.

  • The general rule of thumb is for a website to load in two seconds or less. Anything longer than this can turn a visitor away quickly. One of the top culprits are images that are not optimized properly.

I selected this article from Curatti written by Alice Elliott because she explains how to capture your readers with stand-out visual images in your blog posts.

Capture the reader's attention with eye-catching graphic images.

How Your Content Can Stand Out with Images

You can keep your audience interested in reading your posts by capturing their attention right away. I agree that great images will help you achieve just that.

Elliott explains how to use images effectively in your blog posts in order to attract more readers.

Here's what caught my attention:

  • Both colorful and vibrant pictures can really help your blog posts stand out. These are both attractive and inviting for the reader.

  • Sometimes you don't need a lot of text in your articles when you use the right images. A picture can convey the right message for your audience.

  • Include words over your images to help them be more striking. This is especially true with text that resonates with your readers.
