Storyboard tools or any apps that save you time and help you create the stories you need to or want to tell are welcome. While not all the tools here will necessarily suited to your workflow or needs, at least one or two will. I've always found storyboarding a great way of learning new stories or presenting ideas in a clear, narrative manner -- always appreciated by my audiences. Have fun exploring these.

Great storytellers know that by leaving out a lot of unnecessary description, you engage your listener's imagination. "Suggest, don't tell." Give your audience the silence and space to engage with the story. If not, they become passive as you are doing all the imaginative work for them. This article gives some media examples of this in practice.

Stories need to be captivating from the beginning or you'll bore the pants of your audience, whether it's fiction or brand storytelling.

Post authors Kelsey Libert and Kristin Tynski, 10-24-13 discuss viral coefficients which are the total number of new viewers generated by one existing viewer. Karen Dietz's writes in her curated review: Connecting with people emotionally is the bedrock of effective storytelling. But what emotions produce results? Fear? Anger? Joy? Hope?
This article lays out the emotions that when activated, can result in viral sharing. The research is fascinating...And this article helps us sort through what to do. Good examples and tips are shared, along with the results companies have experienced.

Everyone crafting stories says, "You've 'gotta have conflict!" Or a struggle, trouble, challenge to make it a great story.
But what kind of conflict exactly? Well, here's a post that lays out 10 types of conflict you can you in your story crafting. It's great stuff to know!
I also really like that for each of the 10 types, an example is given and a video clip provided. Sweet.
Have fun with this one. Once you read it, maybe you'll see which conflict type you prefer the most, and which ones you can add into your repertoire.
