Linda Liukas' assertion that "Women make gifted coders because they are creative and brilliant communicators" makes sense to me.  The art of storytelling is also about successfully communicating your ideas with a purpose in mind to others.  The more complex and creative the story, the more the reader enjoys and learns from the experience.  Imagine a world where our culture values everyone for what they can contribute and not how they fit into long held stereotypes.
