Ever since I learned about The Coalition Application and the use of the digital locker, I began targeting students that could use this resource and fully utilize its potential. Once COVID hit, this took a back seat but after reading this article, I need to once again work with my 9th and 10th graders to introduce them to this platform and give them the option to start their college journey now. I also learned about the ZeeMee application that gives students the ability to create content for college admissions representatives. Students learn also about creating a positive online identity. This digital footprint will be seen not only by colleges but also potential employers. |
