This is a great article that represents the leadership skills that can be developed in students that obtain an education in the arts. These leadership skills closely align with the general capabilities section of most of the Australian Curriculum. Reading this article provide insight that with an education in the arts, we could be creating well rounded adults to are able to actively contribute to community.

I really enjoyed reading this article. With my field is not based in the arts, I have never really thought about the qualities one develops from being exposed and learning in that environment. What important and great quality skills to have and ones we want all our students to have. Just as I am passionate about health being in the curriculum, room for the arts is just as important. Thanks for giving me insight Ella
