Digital consumer addiction can be dangerous and harmful. Harm? It damages relationships and the young person doesn't gain the ability to navigate the real world of getting along with others. Community is "common unity' and in spite of the all the promises of social networking, isn't built by clicks and shares. It's built by genuine and authentic interactions in the real world.
