Interesting article, but the author may have missed the boat entirely. It is nice to be benevolent, but there is a commercial opportunity to drive online learning that dwarfs other purposes of learning. Employment will be the driver of learning, and eLearning will play a greater and greater role in recruiting, career development, retention, and every other aspect of employment.

Education is still the key to having a trained workforce. The ability to adapt the organisations' policies to incorporate better education minimum standards will assist in better acknowledgement of the minimum standard that is required by the company involved. A higher education level will lead to a higher skilled workforce through their ability to easily comprehend what is being taught to them. |

There are a lot of languages in the world but many people only speak a few. There are a few languages that are widely spoken and a lot of small isolated languages.- EL

which language do you think is the most spoken in the world?
with the actual situation of the world one may think that English is the most spoken language, and yes, it is possible that it is so but, if you take a look to the languages map, the real question would be: Which is the number of native speakers of one specific language? According to the map, China is the country with more native speakers in the world (incluiding dialects) it seems then, that Chineese is the language most spoken only because there are too many people in this country, while Arabic is the native language of several countries and, for every one surprise, it is one of the most spoken languages. Then, it seems that Spanish and English are the most languages spoken ( after chineese of course) with almost the same number of native speakers.
