Nowadays technology is a great tool that helps us in our life, in our work, in our study, etc. The internet is part of our lives and is very beneficial to us. As future teachers, we must show and tell our students all the benefits and advantages that the internet brings to our lives, but we must also make them aware that this if not used in a correct way can be dangerous for them. It is important to read and take into account these three ways to protect our students from the dangers of technology, because they often do not think about the consequences that can bring to their lives the content that they upload to the internet.  We need to make sure that our students get the most out of technology.

Two years ago, Makeblock team launched the first Kickstarter project for helping makers construct their dreams; Two years later, now we come back to Kickstarter again for O.R.P.K (ONE ROBOT PER KID), releasing the easiest educational robot for helping kids learn robotics with fun.


Robotics integrate all STEM fields and always make each kid crazy. It can help kids get hands-on experience on mechanics, electronics, control system and computer science.


However, all robots on the market seem to be expensive, hard to assemble, trouble to wire and complex to program. Our goal is to create an affordable, easy-to-use and open source robot for per kid: ONE ROBOT PER KID.

There are hundreds of programming languages and tools, but only a few are truly designed for learning programming. Programs written in Java, C++, Visual Basic have challenging “syntax” and they are usually run inside complex “development environment” products, such as Microsoft Visual Studio or Eclipse – widely used by experienced software programmers, but not all that great for just getting started.


There are also products to create programs that tell a story or show animation, but they focus on “drag-and-drop,” not on writing code – and that’s what makes Phrogram different. It’s built on the idea that programming means knowing how to write source code, which is not as hard as it may look! With a concise syntax and easy-to-use toolset, along with dozens of sample programs, Phrogram is real programming that’s really fun.
