Update asap!!! ===> Apple Fixes More Than 25 Flaws in Safari | E-Learning-Inclusivo (Mashup) | Scoop.it
Apple has fixed more than 25 security flaws in its Safari browser.

That flaw was fixed in iOS and other products earlier this year but Apple just released the fix for Safari on Monday. Along with the 25 memory corruption vulnerabilities the company fixed, it also pushed out a patch for a separate issue in Safari that could enable an attacker to read arbitrary files on a user’s machine.

Hackers turn 162,000 WordPress sites into DDoS attack tools

Legitimate sites forced to aid criminals' illicit botnet operations

Hackers have hijacked more than 162,000 legitimate WordPress sites, connecting them to a criminal botnet and forcing them to mount distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, according to security firm Sucuri.

Sucuri CTO Daniel Cid said the company uncovered the botnet when analysing an attack targeting one of its customers. Cid said Sucuri managed to trace the source of the attack to legitimate WordPress sites.

"The most interesting part is that all the requests were coming from valid and legitimate WordPress sites. Yes, other WordPress sites were sending random requests at a very large scale and bringing the site down," read the blog.

WHY Is It A MUST To Have Basics Knowledge Of Cyber-Security In A Connected Technology World!?

WHY Is It A MUST To Have Basics Knowledge Of Cyber-Security In A Connected Technology World!? | E-Learning-Inclusivo (Mashup) | Scoop.it

.It was already mentioned in my blog post ===> Authors Toolbox For Writing And Sharing <=== WHAT the tools are WE can use to to be sure that WE share ONLY stuff which is NOT infected with malware. In this blog post WE go for deeper THINKING and WE will learn WHY WE SHOULD do so.

Did YOU realize already that WE are living in the 21st Century and that WE nearly ALL are using the so called NEW TECHNOLOGIES, the internet, the smartphone(s), laptops, computers, tablets, household goods who are connected to the internet, and this on a daily base!? Did YOU ever started THINKING about such consequences concerning YOUR Privacy and vulnerability to Cyber-Security!?

As far as I know, from practice and praxis while talking to people, most people are NOT as nobody has given them advice, NOR were they taught about it in schools, and there is the problem!

What to do if your social media account has been hacked or hijacked | E-Learning-Inclusivo (Mashup) | Scoop.it
Almost everyone has had their social media accounts compromised at least once in the past, where their accounts automatically share scam links to friends and followers.

===> Today’s attack on Buffer <=== showed just how easy it is for a reputable company to cause its users to become victims of social media attacks, despite having done nothing wrong.

It’s hard to know what to do in these situations so we’ve prepared a primer on how you can deal with attacks if  your social media account were to be compromised.

The Future of the Internet of Things [infographic]

The Future of the Internet of Things [infographic] | E-Learning-Inclusivo (Mashup) | Scoop.it

Ever wonder why Google is installing extreamly fast gigabit internet infrastructure when the average person needs 200x less speed? It is because of the future of the Internet of Things. In less than 10 years, the internet will not just be for your phone or laptop, everything will be online.

I’m talking about your car, fridge, tv, blender, air conditioner, front door, and even your wallet. This inevitable future is why google is starting today with affordable gigabit internet. This new wave of device overload will open up revenue and advertising streams to a whole new level.

Today’s infographic states that in 2020, every human being on earth will be connected to 10 separate devices.

I know I’m already using five and I bet one of the most prominent technology coming up soon will be wearable tech. If its for exercising, sports, general information or just making phone calls, wearable tech will be an exciting addition today’s digital arsenal.
