Este video nos muestra cómo se crea un PLE, las herramientas básicas para crear tu propio entorno y cómo funciona. Es decir que utilidad u objetivos tiene.
Dejando claro desde el primer momento que es un lugar dónde cada uno organiza - clasifica sus conocimientos e intereses.

Me ha gustado mucho el artículo de Beatriz Montesinos. Desde su experiencia personal, escribe sobre la diferencia entre el eLearning tradicional y el aprendizaje con su PLE.
También escribe de cómo se producirá el verdadero cambio en la Educación. No consistirá en incluir las TIC en el aula sino cambiar de modelo.
Muy cierto y muy bueno.

The goal of this paper is to present the primary findings of the first of two phases of a research project that looks at how can undergraduates be supported to engage meaningfully with digital literacies in a rich-research context. My hypothesis is that stu-dents in the act of (re)-designing and implementing their personal learning environment with available support in a low risk space, will have an authentic learning experience whereby they will deploy digital skills, use knowledge and develop an explorative mind-set hence, improve their digital competences and capabil-ity. Twenty undergraduates where invited to a focus group de-signed with the Visitor and Resident approach to explore and reflect upon their current digital practice. Preliminary findings show scarcity of digital tools in the institutional-resident quadrant. Overall students manifest their reluctance to engage with differ-ent web-based tools to mediate learning because they don’t want to risk their grades and also because they perceive the Internet as too open and loose, generating anxiety and uncertainty. They ask for support and guidance. Nevertheless they acknowledged the need to move from the visitor end to the resident one. The next phase will explore how these findings can inform the design principles of a scaffold structure for the re-design of students’ PLE. Via Victoria Marín

Para la construcción de nuestro entorno personal de aprendizaje partimos de una constatación más que evidente año tras año: aunque seamos usuarios de servicios en red, eso no significa que seamos conscientes de su potencial para nuestro aprendizaje, y mucho menos que hayamos puesto esos servicios en funcionamiento para favorecer nuestro aprendizaje y el desarrollo de nuestras competencias. Así pues, las primeras semanas en Educar21 se dedican a la construcción de nuestro PLE para poder usarlo a lo largo de Educar21 y, por supuesto, durante todo su aprendizaje permanente a lo largo de la vida. La creación o el desarrollo de entornos organizativos adecuados y las condiciones para apoyar el uso de las TIC en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje ha demostrado ser un reto y muy difícil, por una parte de orquestar y por otra de sostener. Se trata de un proceso complejo y de múltiples facetas.
