All models of education are relevant in different contexts . Education 2.0 & 3.0 are models that require a level of cognitive and developmental sophistication and experience that allow individuals to be able to make decisions.

Knowles' Six Principles of Adult Learning

Knowles' Six Principles of Adult Learning  | E-Learning-Inclusivo (Mashup) | Scoop.it
Andragogy (adult learning) is a theory that holds a set of assumptions about how adults learn. It uses approaches to learning that are problem-based and collaborative rather than didactic (traditional lecturing or teacher "knows all" model), and also recognises more equality between the teacher and learner.

Andragogy as a study of adult learning originated in Europe in 1950's and was then pioneered as a theory and model of adult learning from the 1970s by Malcolm Knowles, an American practitioner and theorist of adult education, who defined andragogy as "the art and science of helping adults learn."

It is not possible for a human starts to run without has learnt to walk first. That is why I shared this short (but interesting) infographic in which details about the principles of adult learning are exposed, and whoever is interested in learning more about Andragogy should know before going deeper in the concept .This little introduction presents what adults are (how there are motivated, how they use their experiences); how adults learn (all that they want to learn); and how those principles should be applied (use the information of “what adults are” and “how adults learn” together). I consider that there is no another simple to be introduced to the world of the adult learning for beginners.
