Durante la última década, los smartphones han cambiado radicalmente muchos aspectos de nuestra vida cotidiana, desde la banca hasta compras al entretenimiento. La medicina es el próximo. Con las tecnologías digitales innovadoras, cloud computing y de aprendizaje automático, el teléfono inteligente medicalizado va a poner de cabeza todos los aspectos de la atención sanitaria. Y el resultado final será que usted, el paciente, está a punto de tomar el centro del escenario por primera vez.
Con la revolución smartphone, una vez más poderoso nuevo conjunto de herramientas de archivos adjuntos que pueden diagnosticar una infección de oído o de pista el ritmo cardíaco a una aplicación que puede controlar la salud mental, se puede reducir el uso de los médicos, reducir costos, acelerar el ritmo de la atención y dar más poder a los pacientes. Avatares digitales no reemplazarán a los médicos: Usted todavía será ver a los doctores, pero la relación en última instancia, pueden alterar radicalmente. The infographic from ad exchange, Mobclix in this piece aims to highlight what goes down in the mobile world in 60 seconds.
****Before you read the excerpt, I thought it was particularly interesting to post one of the comments made by a reader who saw the infograph. He wasn't the only one that said this was an unfinished report. I think these people are missing the point here.
**This is a mere glimpse, the tip of the iceberg, to give us an idea of the magnitude of this exploding industry, it's not the be all end all report. I'm very careful what I post, I don't want to add to the noise, so look at the infographic with this in mind and imagine how it would look if you added what one of the readers said below.

Ulrich Weihler: "Nice idea, but major things for spending mobile time are missing, surfing content, using communities, using apps, internet usage, downloading music and videos, listening to music or watching videos, sms and actually phone connecions to talk, etc.. that's why the chart looks a bit strange."

"In case you were curious, in the time it took me to write out that first sentence, over 23,000 iOS apps were downloaded from Apple’s App Store.
** Mobclix used data directly from app publishers, industry sources, and a little old-fashioned arithmetic to get the 60 second stats you see below.
Of course, considering Mobclix’s background, there had to be some ad-related factoids in the mix too.
Mobile advertisers will be glad to know (if they didn’t already) that some 4,111 ads are tapped each minute, though it almost makes you wonder how many ads were ignored in the same 60 second timeframe.

La tecnología en dispositivos portátiles lleva muchos años monitoreando la salud de las personas. Ejemplo muy común de ello es el pequeño aparato que ayuda a identificar nuestro nivel de glucosa en la sangre con tan sólo pinchar nuestro dedo con él. ¿Pero qué tal si dejamos caer una gota de sangre o de saliva en la pantalla de nuestro smartphone para que éste la analice? Podría diagnosticar si tenemos una enfermedad, algo más complejo que determinar el nivel de glucosa en la sangre.
Llevar a cabo este proceso de análisis implica mucha tecnología respaldada por años de investigación, y la parte de ella que lo está haciendo posible se llama sensibilidad capacitiva. Se trata de un desarrollo ya presente desde hace tiempo en nuestros smartphones pero destinada a otros usos como dibujar, teclear, navegar...
Para el caso de la medicina, y en términos muy simples, dicha capacidad del smartphone le permite detectar el ADN o proteínas de las personas a través de su sangre o saliva y reaccionar ante ellas de cierta manera. Las últimas investigaciones señalan que incluso puede detectar las biomoléculas, aunque aún no puede identificarlas. Los expertos afirman que, cuando esto se logre, la detección de enfermedades será ya toda una realidad.
