As emphasized in the excerpt below, I picture this as the old serfdom... Those who are fully digitally literate will live in the castle and those who are not will not. Further, they will be woefully ignorant of what is going on within those walls.  We must make being digital not just trendy but instead create a culture where people realize that it is a landscape that has become an intricate part of living on the planet.  It is not 'other' and people there are not 'those people' but rather a fully integrated part of humanity.
