Each facilitator has objectives to development in class that usually they go with the needs of the adult learning. But, what about the way of achieving those objectives or needs? That´s why I share this article about some adult learning theories that will help any facilitator to find the path of teaching.
The theory of learning for adults is not just one, there are several theories that try to guide facilitators through this process, such as: andragogy, experiential learning, transformational learning, etc. In this article is only focused on these three theories, and each one of them these theories has a point of view about how to teach; however, anyone has the same purpose that is to guide, in the best way, the adults during any educational process. Which is better? It depends on the philosophy of each facilitator and what he considers that will be perfect according to the context. |
