1 - J'ai ajouté un LLM : Llama 3 qui vient de sortir

Meta ne donne pas d'interface de chat accessible au grand public FR mais on a déjà quelques infos prometteuses
Et il est déjà testé dans plusieurs classements comparatifs de performances. Et accessible sur site meta . ai ou multi LLM comme Poe.

2 - J'ai corrigé plusieurs critères chiffrés, notamment suite à commentaire et aux mises à jour de GPT-4 Turbo (2024-04-09) + MS Copilot + Gemini

3 - J'ai ajouté les classements en capacités de :

- Rédaction en français selon le chatbot Arena de LMSYS (814 700 avis humains !)

- Codage selon le LLM leaderboard interactif du site Vellum ai

Point majeur sur la course au sommet des 6 titans :

- MARS : Claude 3 Opus, le LLM d'Anthropic, soutenu par Amazon et Google et fondée par d'anciens vice-présidents d'OpenAI, a réussi à dépasser GPT-4 Turbo au classement Chatbot Arena. Mais son règne fut de courte durée.

- AVRIL : OpenAI vient de récupérer la couronne avec des compétences améliorées en mathématiques, en raisonnement logique, en codage et en écriture (dans GPT-4 Turbo et ChatGPT payant).

Limites de mon tableau :

1 - Devant les polémiques montantes concernant la consommation électrique de l'IA, il serait intéressant d'ajouter la conso de l'apprentissage, de l'utilisation...

2 - Certaines lignes mériteraient d’avoir une évaluation du type 1 ⭐️ à 5 étoile ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ (plutôt qu’un oui / non)

3 - Le critère pour évaluer la gestion de la confidentialité mériterait d’être documenté (surtout pour les LLM annoncés gratuit et dont le business modèle est financé par la connaissance client et la publicité)

Pour ces 3 points, la difficulté est de trouver les sources fiables qui ne font pas débat d'expert. Si vous avez je suis preneur...

ChatGPT is a natural language processing tool driven by artificial intelligence (AI) technology that allows you to have human-like conversations and much more with a chatbot. The language model can answer questions, and help you with tasks such as composing emails, essays, and code.

ChatGPT takes online writing tools such as QuillBot to the next level—or the next few levels—by leveraging the knowledge stored on the internet to respond to queries and requests.

ChatGPT is designed to simulate human-like responses to text-based communication.

It is built on an architecture that mimics the human brain called the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) model. The GPT architecture allows ChatGPT to generate natural language text that is highly coherent and contextually appropriate.

ChatGPT uses a large database of written text, such as books, articles, and websites, that it has been pre-trained on. When a user inputs a message or question, ChatGPT uses this pre-trained knowledge to generate a response that it believes best answers the question or provides a relevant response to the message.

L’intelligence artificielle générative (IAG) permet la création ou la génération de nouvelles données, de contenus ou de créations originales. Mais comment fonctionnent-elles ? Comment les inclure dans les pratiques pédagogiques ? Quels sont leurs avantages et leurs limites ?

L’université de Bordeaux met à disposition de la communauté enseignante une série de ressources pédagogiques permettant de comprendre le fonctionnement des IA génératives comme ChatGPT, leurs avantages, leurs limites, mais aussi de connaître les différentes utilisations qu'un étudiant, enseignant, ou tuteur peuvent en faire.

Ce kit propose, entre autres, des pistes d'activités pédagogiques et d'évaluation en fonction de différents cas de figure, des exemples de prompts, des bonnes pratiques, mais aussi une liste d'outils d'IA testés et recommandés par l'équipe d'ingénieurs pédagogiques de la MAPI.

L’objectif ? Permettre à la chaque enseignant d’identifier les impacts de ces technologies sur ses activités d'apprentissage ou d'enseignement et d'adopter les stratégies les plus adaptées selon sa sensibilité, son contexte ou ses pratiques.

This article explores the research question: ‘What are ChatGPT’s human-like traits as perceived by society?’ Thematic analyses of insights from 452 individuals worldwide yielded two categories of traits. Category 1 entails social traits, where ChatGPT embodies the social roles of ‘author’ (imitating human phrasing and paraphrasing practices) and ‘interactor’ (simulating human collaboration and emotion). Category 2 encompasses political traits, with ChatGPT assuming the political roles of ‘agent’ (emulating human cognition and identity) and ‘influencer’ (mimicking human diplomacy and consultation). When asked, ChatGPT confirmed the possession of these human-like traits (except for one trait). Thus, ChatGPT displays human-like qualities, humanising itself through the ‘game of algorithms’. It transcends its inherent technical essence and machine-based origins to manifest as a ‘semi-human’ living actor within human society, showcasing the emergence of semi-humans. Therefore, researchers should redirect their attention towards the ‘sociology of semi-humans’ (studying their socio-political traits) beyond the ‘biology of semi-humans’ (examining their technical traits). While medieval society was captivated by mythical semi-human beings (e.g. mermaids), modern society finds itself increasingly captivated by computational semi-human beings like ChatGPT. Ethical concerns arise as semi-humans impersonate human traits without consent or genuine human existence, blurring the boundaries between what is authentically and artificially ‘human’.

A principios del verano os hablaba de la primera versión preliminar del OWASP TOP 10 para LLM Apps, pero a finales de Agosto, se publicó la que es Versión 1.0.1 de esta guía, y como ha cambiado un poco, voy a aprovechar para hablaros de ella, con referencias a papers académicos y ejemplos, para que se entienda un poco mejor.
