As another year of Secret Teacher blogs draws to a close, we celebrate some of our favourites from 2017. From behind-the-scenes thoughts on some of the really big issues in teaching to surprising and emotive stories, there’s been plenty to spark discussion and debate.

The Guardian newspaper from the UK operates a service called Secret Teacher blogs on which educators may post anonymously. This collection of excerpts from 10 posts from 2017 demonstrates, among other things, how much a teacher's life in the U.S. or the U.K is quite similar.
