Some really useful tips about structuring information and the impactful use of visuals. I haven't been a huge fan of Prezi because they can be just too "busy" and disorientating when they incorporate too much spin as they move from image to image. These tips give good advice about how to keep it simple for best effect. I've used Prezi as a way of presenting the notes from a visual group coaching session back to the participants.

El procedimiento es muy sencillo, pero cuando quieras convertir un power point en prezi es importante que consideres que la estructura de ambos tipos de presentaciones es diferente así que tal vez no baste con una simple importación. Para que el resultado se ajuste al tipo de lenguaje de prezi será necesario hacer algunos retoques en la construcción del discurso visual.

Prezi is nothing if not divisive. Some people love it, some people hate it - I'm in neither of those camps. I find it very useful in some situations, but still use good old fashioned PowerPoint Slides for more than half the presentations I give. Prezi should be used for a reason.

Seems like Prezi just gets better and better. Adding the ability to allow chat between people, whilst they edit..... you can now give them polls and questions as well. Just so cool. Can't wait for the opportunity to try this out. eib

Sli.do is a great assistant when you present with Prezi. It lets you have instant audience interaction via real-time polls. Basic account is free but your data are public and they are retained for 1 week, however, it is a useful application for classroom activities. Sli.do also works with Google Glass and Eventbrite.

If you haven't seen Prezi or you have and want to know how to go about getting started this might give you the inspiration you need. Prezi is like PowerPoint on steroids and provides that extra bit of spark to keep the audience awake just a bit longer than PP.

Anyone who has used the Prezi platform would know that creating a Prezi and uploading it to Prezi.com is easy enough, however when it comes to converting it to a YouTube video, there seems to be no native method of doing so... Via Baiba Svenca

Para sonorizar una presentación completa o bien para incorporar sonido a en un momento del recorrido.
Actualización 7de febrero: Parece que todavía están probando y acaban de eliminar la posibilidad de sonorizar todo el Prezi. Para sonorizar un marco concreto hay que seleccionarlo y, en el menú desplegable, elegir Agregar sonido al marco. Para sustituirlo pulsar con el botón derecho sobre la miniatura de la columna del recorrido y elegir Sustituir locucion en el paso de la ruta. |

Bunkr is an interesting tool I'm exploring right now. When I first came across it "1.0", it wasn't as user friendly as I would have liked. But they've nicely retooled it from the ground up and I'm looking to explore it again.
