Eight science apps that turn your phone into a laboratory - Popular Science

Eight science apps that turn your phone into a laboratory - Popular Science | iPads, MakerEd and More in Education | Scoop.it

"Your smartphone is packed with sensors and miniaturized equipment. Instead of using them to snap photos or message friends, harness those instruments for the sake of science. Software can turn a phone into a mobile science laboratory, letting you make research observations, track earthquakes, study birds and stars and the elements, and even project a virtual particle accelerator. Here are some of our favorite apps for doing science on your smartphone."

How to record better audio on your phone - Popular Science | iPads, MakerEd and More in Education | Scoop.it
With a smartphone in your pocket, you'll always have a capable video and audio recorder close to hand. Capturing audio on your phone can help you save an interview, create a spontaneous podcast, log a semester's worth of lectures, and vastly improve your home videos.

This is an interesting research and very helpful. It’s reliable resource is “popsci.com” This research gives you different ways on recording and how to improve the audio. It also shows that’s you don’t have to have a certain phone nor apps to fix the audio. This is very interesting because most people use there phones for everything. People capture most things on their phone, not really with a digital camera or any other electronic.

Today, there are lots of reasons everyone from pro photographers to amateur shutterbugs are using phones to shoot video projects.
