CDP, a global nonprofit committed to sustainable economies, has named General Motors a global leader for its actions and strategies to address climate change. GM is now on the global Climate A List – a spot held by just 9 percent of the thousands of companies participating in CDP’s climate change program.

CDP: Big businesses are driving huge cuts in #supplychain emissions | Supply chain News and trends | Scoop.it

CDP new report reveals that global supply chain emissions fell by 434 million tonnes last year - more than France’s total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in 2014.
The emissions reduction, which led to £10bn in cost savings, was driven by the world’s seeking to exploit the opportunities presented by the low-carbon transition, CDP says.
